david and deborah are the subjects of a new book about birders. we went to their reading, then dinner and a nice walk.
on an evening bike ride in the neighborhood and found a new brazilian restaurant hiding out. la favela. yum.

after dinner we explored the waterfront by bike. lots of folks gathered along the water watching the sunset.
since the area has a lot of industrial buildings, there's lots of graffiti entertainment
