 we made several attempts to recreate a video richard and i saw at the Moma. it involved sitting still for 10 mins. we were spectacularly unsuccessful but had fun trying.

 richard always makes new friends easily

 so it went from the picture before this one to this photo. richard, late into the night, came down with Appendicitis and we rushed him over to the emergency room. it was a tough night.
|
 we didn't see a doctor for quite a while, so of course there was time for more jokes
|
 we had a lot of entertaining to do to keep a happy patient.

 later at chris and eric's for a going away dinner. this was our toast to richard's recovery and we were all sad he wasn't there.

 chris made homemade ice cream that was truly amazing

 logan massaged my feet during dinner with his tongue. he's cute with his one sock.

 later we snuck back into the hospital to check on richard...he made it through like a champ and now we both have nice tummy scars. we're very happy this happened here and not while he was on the road.

 so joyous the next day with his new staples.
